My Biggest Books Purchase.....ever

Yes, that really is the biggest I had so far.  So how many is that 'biggest'?  To many, it's just a normal number.  I bought 5prints, books...and 2 ebooks. All in different genres, but this time, thriller and suspense or mystery outnumber my favourite Romantic genre, 5 as opposed to only 1 romance book.  

What are they, the titles?  I can only write what I think I understand from the synopsis. More accurate description will be written after I actually read them.

1. Now You See Her by James Patterson

 Categorized as Crime and Mystery, the synopsis shows that this could be a real page turner.  Story about a female lawyer, with dark past, has to again face it in order to defend an innocent man from being framed for murder. 

2. Angel of The Dark by Sidney Sheldon

About a killer, beautiful, mysterious young woman called Angel of The Dark.  Once killed a newlywed millionaire but cleverly covered her track.  A gap of 10 years  brought her back into action, and she started her cold blooded killing again.  But this time, with the son of the millionaire she killed, hot on her trail.

3. Deception Point by Dan Brown

I think by now I have completed my collection of Dan Brown books.  I have all of them in my collection, all but one in hardcopy.  The Da Vinci Code is the only one copy I have in dvd, movie, not book.  As mysterious and full of suspense and thriller as he always does, this book is about a discovery by NASA, that could threaten the world into big controversy.

4. The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

Could be another author whose books I intend to have in my collection, all of them.  A movie tie-in, which is soon to be released in cinemas, starring Disney's successful product, Zac Efron.  About a mysterious picture of a woman, which Logan (Zac) found while serving in Iraq, that brought good luck to him.  Upon returning back to his country, he is determined to find the woman in the picture.  Story goes from there onward.

5. Pantheon by Sam Bourne

Another mystery writer I really, really love, besides Dan Brown.  Story revolved around the World War 2.  A young man upon returning home from rowing found that his wife and young son vanished, leaving only love note to him.  His search, and what goes around the search is the center of this story.

And, the e-books? 

1. The Chief's Proposal by ?

I don't know the author, I bought it via mobile device.  I read the synopsis, but upon checking it out for the second time, it's gone.  I am still working on the download, a little 'hiccup' due to my limited IT literacy.  Will share with you the detail once I managed to get it solved.

2. For Every Evil by ?

Same case as above, the only thing is, I am reading it now, problem solved.  But don't ask me the details because I still don't know.  It's a run and chase kind of story, about a serial killer, targeting young woman and lately, just anyone who's got in his way.  Carefully hidden from suspicions under his brother's political shade.

So, there they are.  I don't know where will I find time to read all of them. One thing I am sure, though, that this is one of my greatest treasure, that I will pass down to my daughter.  Why the big purchase?  I bought them all on MPH Online, taking advantage of the price cut and free delivery charge nationwide, until tomorrow only.  It's like buying the books myself in the bookstore, only with much, much more choices.
