Not for Christmas gifts, but for a new pair of shoes, football boots. It seems that our Futsal team has expanded its wings for real this time, venturing into bigger playground, the football field. Although, of course, it is not the first time I played football, as you can read in this blog, but, with our very own PGFC team, the futsal team, this is indeed, the very first time.
I was quite skeptical with the level of enjoyment I would derive from the friendly match yesterday, at Kg. Laya-Laya Tuaran, because my previous 2 games @ tournament were quite a...well...so-so games. Not enjoyable enough for me to really look forward to, play again. In fact, the most recent one left me feel traumatized.
This time, however, I missed, big time. The first time I played with complete attire, I must admit, I really, really enjoyed the game. Maybe because I wasn't lacking in anything (found myself a pair of boots to borrow), and maybe because of the teammates, I really enjoyed playing with them, and maybe because we won. Frankly speaking, I am always proud of my teammates, they know their games well. Proud to be one of them.
We played in a fairly relaxed manner. Everyone played well, I must say. We won 4-0. Well, may I say, I really look forward for another football match in the future?
