The Fifty Shades Trilogy

I have been arguing with myself whether or not to tell the world about this latest addition, fearing it will spark some kind of unwanted view upon myself, but then again, screw it, I am not that 'somebody' to anyone at all for them to waste their time judging me. Besides, it's a free world.

By the way, I read about the rumors on making the book into a film, which the most talked about was who the casts would be.  It stated somewhere in the article (and many other articles) that the movie was going to be an adaptation from a very famous trilogy, books, from E.L. James, an erotic series, thank you.

So, as you might have already guessed, anything that caused debates and rumors would interest me.  So, I went to the bookstore and bought myself my first book of the trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey.  Of course I didn't know then that it was a trilogy.  I was quite frustrated when reaching the end, the story was nowhere nearing its climax nor conclusion whatsoever.  Only then, belatedly, I realized, there were two more books in that series.

I tried to control the desire to buy the book, as my routine was to buy a book in 2 or 3 months interval.  But I guess I was not able to contain the curiousity, so I went again, to a nearby bookstore, with intention to buy the next title, Fifty Shades Darker.  But I walked out of the store with 2 books instead, adding Fifty Shades Freed in another hand, and a very broad smile on my face.  Finally, I would be able to read the story, until the end without any interruption.

It was a story about a young, handsome and mysterious billionaire, or maybe millionaire, Christian Grey who fell in love with a young, carefree and easy-to-love graduate, Anastasia Steele.  Their meeting was 'accidental', as Ana went to interview him, being asked by her best friend to replace her, a last minute arrangement, due to her sickness.  He was a control freak, but very, too creative when it comes to loving a woman.  You'd have to read the books yourself to really understand what I say.

The story revolve around that, love, relationship and eroticism, but there are still elements of surprise, thrill and a little bit of mystery.  I take it just to engage the readers' curiousity to read on.  Well, when someone is too rich, there's bound to be another who will feel envious towards him.  That other person tried to take him down, along with Christian's previous lovers and affairs.  How he would manage them all, and win Ana's heart once and for all?  Have a read.  It really worth it.
