The Red Alert Team |
For some, it can be called 'painball'. Call this untimely post, but this is a quite addictive sport, a mixture of many elements, causes adrenaline rush in our young blood. My first experience playing this sport is in November 2011, during our very creative and enjoyable KIK course at Kuantan, Pahang. May I say it was the most memorable place in my life, for a very, very personal reason. Okay, back then, we were the champion, although we only played twice.

My second was last year, during our family day at Ranau, my Dad's side. At Damai EcoResort, we had to accept our loss, well, it was a really fun game, still, for me. Then the most recent one, a mini paintball tournament organized by our office, involving 4 teams, 28 participants, held at KK Paintball Center, Likas on 28 April 2013. Thanks to them for organizing the game on Sunday, where I can, of course, participate.
My little loyal supporter |
A little misinformed, I was the earliest to arrive, at 7.15am. Had to call my colleague who confirmed that the game would start at 9.00am. Rushed for a quick breakfast with my Nicole at McD and rushed back to the scene. I was a bit lost, went to and fro, and when finally I found the place, I was already warmed up, enough.
Ready to attack |
My team was called Red Alert, our color should be red but I guess it was everyone's favorite color as almost half of the whole participants were in red. Never mind, we had our mask to differentiate us from other team.
Me..in action |
We played 3 games, won 2 and lost 1. I managed to kill a few enemies. It was a great feeling. Then in the final game, I was shot right at my stomach. Luckily I had my 'armor' on. Felt nothing but a scratch on my pride. But the again, it was a great game, I wish we will have this kind of tournament, or bigger, in the future.
Congrats to the winner. We were just the first runner up. Lost in points to the champion. What can I say, the RM40 fee we paid, it was well spent...very well spent.
'Painball' huh??? Which ball? Hahaha. The game sounds fun. Never played it.
ReplyDeleteThat ball....hahahaha..... Yup...it is fun. Give it a try when you have the opportunity at anytime. It's like main tembak2 using handmade wooden gun and wild berries bullets.
