My oh my, it's August and my last entry was in March 2012. My Math told me it's more than 4 months this blog hasn't received any 'nourishment'. No wonder my friends hinted me that this blog is dying.
Truth be told, in those 4 months, a lot of things happened to me, from the mildest oh-so-cute moments I'd surely loved to share, to the earth-shattering experience that I'd rather keep to myself. It's amazing how a period used to be so very long once upon a time, be the fastest period ever to pass by, it flew, literally, because I couldn't possibly pull over, take a breath and have a look at what was happening to me and my life.
Important events be shared in a single paragraph: First, is my close, and one of the longest (in terms of years of friendship) friend's delivery of a very cute lil' boy, a knight, mind you..in June. He has one of the most unique name, Artaenien Rhys Andre, and I know it's how his parents viewed him, a small, noble knight. Then, the fact that I and my KIK team and my own personal engineer, my younger brother, is working on, up until now. It is important because if the idea we conceived together can be translated into a real working machine, we could be up to making our way towards patenting the invention. Talk about a real innovation here. Well, this is the farthest I can get in sharing this because like I hinted earlier, it's still in idea, theory stage, soon to be translated into physical machine. I will update you once it is successfully built. Another change in my workplace is my 'immediate' subordinate, my section's switched with another same section's, same grade, same responsibility. It provides a change in view, my workflow, maybe it's long overdue, for me. So far, I experience only positive things, changes. I hope this will last longer, at least until I can master my current job and responsibility. My Nicole is getting bigger, keep growing stronger and wiser. In terms of fashion, however, she is way above and beyond me. Study, I enrolled her in an extra tuition class. Not to burden her, but I think she needs help in her Chinese since she is going to Chinese school next year. It's more towards providing her with essential skills to survive in her new school. A very close uncle passed away last July. It was sad, considering he was the one that we, siblings, could really relate ourselves to. He was closed to my family until the end of his life, where my second older brother was the last one to hear his voice before he moved on to the next world.
Well, those are the important ones. More experiences, events, happenings during the period I did not mention here, they all worth something in my life. They help contribute towards my maturity, sometimes by reminding me that past is not completely past, it's worth glancing back once in a while, reminding us of who we were before, where we come from, and where we are supposed to be heading to.
All in all, I am, always am thanking my God above for His abundant and incessant blessings upon me, my family and friends.

Yuhuuu..you are back. Hehe. My blog is dying too. With that 'small noble knight' demanding all my attention, it's hard to find time blogging. Hei..it's cool how you put it..the meaning of his name I mean. Now..I have an idea of a new poetry title. But...I don't know when will I get a free time for that. :)
ReplyDeleteThat 'KIK' matter...you make me wondering what are you up to. Machine invention?? Macam projek mega ni tau. Sound so exciting. Mau kurik balik ilmu fizik kali tu ahh??
And...condolence to you and your whole family for the loss of your uncle. I have been through a great lost myself and I know..it's hard. But, to know that they are in a better place...it will comfort us a bit. Have faith ok.
Yup, I am back, for good, i hope. Your case, it's understandable. I know you'll be back once you get used to the hectic pace. As for the poetry, i'll always looking forward to read the new one from you.
ReplyDeleteKIK (Kumpulan Inovatif Kreatif), yes, I guess this will be another one of the most daring invention we've ever willing to risk our stake on. Some people say it is impossible, but we'll try to move the mountain with whatever means we have. Someone has to do, so why not us? That's the spirit I want every team member has. Fizik and mechanical tu Chris, cuma boleh provide theory side only..the moving parts...itu depends on the 'engineer'.
And yes, you are the perfect person who can truly understand how we were feeling, the loss and all. Well, everything happens for a reason, I learnt to accept that long time ago. Thank you friend...
God bless you.
