It is never too late to celebrate Mothers Day. Back home, Mothers Day celebrated during the Sabbath service, in any week, in May. Back when I was still home, I usually played a big part in planning the day, how we can convey our feelings of love and appreciation towards a very special person called Mom. And I do miss that moment, this year since I won't be home for the occasion.
Last Sunday, my simple Mothers Day deed was just to text a very simple "Happy Mothers Day, Mom, I love you so much" to my mom. I know for some it is too simple, but giving my age and life now, most people don't say I love You, Mom that much anymore. It is very rare to hear that these days. And her reply was equally simple, but brought to tears to my heart, "Happy Mothers Day to you too. T.q.v. much being my sweet n kind dght I have. Thank agn."
Tears not simply for her reply, but her seeing me as a sweet and kind daughter. I am the worst daughter a Mom could have!! I am the only child in my family who ever caused tears and heartbreak to my Mom, and also to my tough Dad. I constantly burden them with my troubles, and hardly have the opportunity to give them back what they truly deserve. Worse still, I still am burdening them today. And she said I am her sweet and kind daughter?! She's truly an angel, loving us, her children without a glance at out flaws and weaknesses.

The fun side of her, as she always is.... |
Well, my own daughter does not understand the meaning of Mothers Day yet, but her saying "I love You Mom" several times a day still melt my heart every time she says it. Probably that's how my mom feels every time I say (or text) to her the very same words.
All Mommy in the world, may God incessantly bless you abundantly. Your love is truly a reflection of God's love, and for that I thank the Lord above for giving you to us, not us, to you. You are our blessing.
do agree there

Yup, every child has the most beautiful mom in the world, as much as mom has the most beautiful children.
