Likas Wall Climbing

Safety first
This happened more than a week ago, only now able to upload the pictures as I took some time to transfer the pictures from my proper camera.

After mulling about it for quite a long time, finally we went there, and tested our strength on walls at Likas Wall Climbing (near the skating area, Likas Sports Complex).  Went there late afternoon, at about 5.30pm, only to register about an hour later.  The fee was RM22 for adults and RM20 for kids, which is good for a whole day climb session, if you want. My friend and her daughter went on first, as I was still considering whether or not join them as I was famished, literally and I didn't think I have the strength to beat the walls.  However, the ego kicked in, so after they finished climbing the first wall, I was up and geared to start my own climbing.
My mild, 1st wall

Of course it was not my first time, but the one thing I really hate about myself is that, every time, almost EVERY TIME, I go for a very intense workout or activity, I would go in, empty stomach.  And that, my friend, is very bad.  So, I buckled up, and climbed up, bearing in mind, I wouldn't force myself to go beyond my ability, my supplied strength and energy at that time.  So, after my 3rd climb, I called it quit.  I still need my good hands for badminton the next day, and days after.

Well, now I know wall climbing is not my thing.  I am okay with it, but it won't be my favorite.  At least it is a tried and proven theory, for me.

2nd, a bit challenging

3rd, Quite challenging, had to rest midway, energy almost depleted

After all 3 walls done....

Just a taste, next time, you are up!

Okay, a pose or two won't hurt

Tired, so watching others was all we could do

  2. Quit, because there was at least one more wall that I should climb, which my friends did. But of course, should be good enough.
