Good girl

There are so many things I'd love to teach her about life, so many things that I am constantly afraid that I will not have enough time to impart to her everything that she needs to know about life.

One of them is being independent and able to carry herself, around the house and doing housework. She may be barely 7 years old, but I remembered in her age, I had already been taught to at least do some cleaning in the kitchen, especially the dishes, even though it cost my parents precious kitchenware due to my careless hands.

She really makes me proud, even though from time to time she may be one annoying stubborn kid, but she is just honestly being a normal kid.  She's learning to build her manners, and little mistakes every now and then should be expected.  You can't be perfect overnight, or even in a few short years.  It takes a lifetime to really learn everything about life, and yet until your dying day, you will find that you are not even close to perfection.

Well, this kid had really learned a lot.  Although it's not something that she is willing to do, with pleasure, but she is capable of cleaning the house, sweeping, mopping and cleaning the dishes.  She had asked me to teach her to cook, but in her first attempt to assist the cooking, it turned out a bit, advanced for her.  She was too afraid of the fire, the heat and the cooking pot itself.  Maybe soon after this, we'll try again.

Just dropping by to share bits and pieces of our normal life, this little family of mine.

I thank God everyday for His blessings upon us, poured incessantly and abundantly.
