Today, there were only 3 sessions, 1 Plenary and 2 concurrent sessions that each participant could attend. Plenary session was on 'Islamic Finance: Strengthening the Global Financial Market' where one of the speakers was our own Bank Negara Governor. As Malaysia is now the leader in Islamic Financial Market, I think the world in the congress is looking at Malaysia as a benchmark, considering Islamic Financial products are in high demand, a result following the recent financial crisis.

There was no lunch provided, so everyone scattered around, looking for food. It was a very bad timing, as we were released at 12.30pm, by that time everyone else in the city was out on the same mission. Restaurants, big or small, fast food outlet, all full to the brim. I was like losing my mind, walking to and fro, from one restaurant to another, get into the queue, then out again. I was doing that for at least an hour. I was considering whether I should go back to the hotel, take the complimentary ticket for Tun Mahathir's talk this evening, and back before he began the talk, or just stay put, and see if the organiser was kind enough to let me in without a ticket. I really didn't want to miss his talk. However, it seemed that I lost my ability to make decision, as in the end, I just walked back to the next session in the Plenary Hall on 'Forensic Accounting: Addressing the Challenges in a digital environment', without lunch and with exhausted feet and body.
Finally, I think my body had reached its limit, I couldn't wait any longer for the next session. I couldn't bear the thought of being denied the entrance to the Plenary Hall where Tun Mahathir talk would be taking place. So, I headed straight to the exit, took a taxi and went straight to my hotel. I brought with me my very exhausted and aching body, and also my deepest regret and disappointment for missing the talk that I really wished I could attend. Hence, that explains why the late entry for Day 4.
So, the end of the day, all I really, really wanted was a good night rest and a fresh morning, the next day..
